Regal Tenbury Trust Ltd
Opportunity to Join the Board of Trustees

WHO ARE WE?
The Regal is a theatre and cinema based in Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire. For almost 90 years the Regal has provided access to the arts to the community in and around Tenbury Wells. The Regal is a critical part of the life of the town operating from a listed Art-Deco building with a 260 seat theatre and 50 seat studio providing a hub for live events, theatre, cinema and community activity. We offer an extensive and diverse programme intended to deliver something for everyone across our community. We also support the Regal Community Theatre, the Regal School of Creative Arts and produce a popular panto each year.

WHAT SKILLS DO WE NEED?
The Regal is looking to build for the future. We need new Trustees who will work with the Chair, the Board, the Theatre Director and her team, and our incredible volunteers to deliver on the Regal’s exciting and ambitious Mission and Vision. Trustees will regularly attend the Regal for meetings, performances and events. There is a minimum of four board meetings per year and trustees are encouraged to serve on a sub-committee.  Enthusiasm for the role of arts and culture in supporting thriving communities is a must-have, proximity to Tenbury Wells and a knowledge of the local area is a definite plus.
