Join us for our 11th professional pantomime at the Regal – a festive favourite for families across the region! From 11th to 31st December, the stage will sparkle with comedy, music, magic and mayhem in our 2025 Christmas cracker: Dick Whittington and His Musical Cat.

Brought to you by the same creative team behind last year’s hit CinderElla, this year’s production is directed by Chris Garner, with musical direction by Richard Fox, and a script by writer Andrew Pollard.

Dick Whittington our Tenbury lad is down on his luck! He's heard the streets of London are paved with gold, and so takes a one way tractor ride to find his fame and fortune. But will it all go to plan?

Sea-shanty on down to another magical Christmas Panto at the Regal with hiss-terical script and toe-tapping mew-sical numbers. Join Dick and his mew-sical cat for this rollicking rags to riches adventure!

A really funny and well-acted panto for all the family (or just adults!). The show runs through to the end of December but for one night only, it was an “adult” version (this is the show reviewed here). So there were more risqué jokes (though nothing offensive) and a packed house of adults. As an experiment, it obviously worked well, filling the auditorium and showing that panto is not just for kids. The adults responded just like children do – shouting “he’s behind you!” and joining in every moment. Everyone was in Buttons’ gang and the Ugly Sisters clearly made the most of the extra freedom.”

About Relaxed Performances: Enjoy pantomime in a supportive and less formal atmosphere specially designed for audiences who need a more relaxed environment. No strobe and pyrotechnics will be used for this performance. 

 School performances 

We have a special rate for school bookings. All tickets for school bookings will be priced at £11, with a discount of 10% made for group bookings of over 10 people. School bookings are now open and close on Monday 29 September 2025.
