Join professional storyteller Annie from Wing of Words as she presents funny retelling of the classic Rumpelstiltskin tale as part of the Regal Comedy Festival.
Get ready for a story adventure like never before. With fun around every corner, be prepared to chuckle! From the cheeky antics of her badger sidekick to a fairytale stuffed with humour, weaving in giggles through accents, language and Annie's own character rap. Fun and enjoyment as she brings the story to life. So what are you waiting for? Let’s get this story started!
Taking place in the Regal Studio, this event is suitable for children aged 4-10. Smaller siblings are welcome to attend.

Hello, I’m Annie, a teacher turned storyteller. Wings of Words is my company dedicated to the joy of storytelling and promises fun, creativity and imagination in abundance. I have taught young children for many years and had the joy of their smiles and laughter filling the classroom. Now keen to maintain my connection with children, I use these lovely years and experiences, combined with my own passion for storytelling, to bring you story adventures. Stepping out of the classroom and into the theatre.

Summer School 2023 at the Regal, Tenbury Wells
Let your children’s imaginations run riot as we explore some of Tenbury's more fantastical and grisly mysteries. We will visit the local museum to discover the history of Tenbury and work with theatre professionals on how to create scary atmospheres on stage.
Participants will explore acting, movement, voice, puppetry, lighting and sound leading to a 20 minute performance on the Regal stage at the end of each week.

9-10.30 & 10.45-12: Creating and acting out characters & storyline
12-12.30 Lunch
12.30-12.45 Games
12.45-2.00 Making props and costumes
2.00-2.15 Break
2.15-4.30-Watching a Harry Potter film on the big screen with popcorn & drinks
