Fleabag (15) - NT Live

Written and performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve) and directed by Vicky Jones, Fleabag is a rip-roaring look at some sort of woman living her sort of life. Following a box-office record-breaking run in cinemas in 2019, the one-woman show returns to cinemas to the big screen this summer.

Fleabag may seem oversexed, emotionally unfiltered and self-obsessed, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. With family and friendships under strain and a guinea pig café struggling to keep afloat, Fleabag suddenly finds herself with nothing to lose.

The hilarious, award-winning play that inspired the BBC’s hit TV series Fleabag, was filmed live on stage in London’s West End in 2019.

Presented by DryWrite, Soho Theatre and Annapurna Theatre.
Written and performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge
Directed by Vicky Jones

My Romantic History
By D. C. Jackson

The Regal Studio
Doors: 7.00 PM
Start time: 7.30 PM

"Where do you meet people? Where are people meeting each other? Pub? supermarket? Gym?... If you havent met someone by the time you graduate, you're going to marry some #!%* from your work. It's that simple."

Tom, the office temp, arrives in a new job to become the object of female interest. D.C Jackson's darkly comedic script marries Sex and the City with The Office in a tale of whirlwind romance that rapidly turns into a calamitous force 10 hurricane.

My Romantic History premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2010 and won a Fringe First

'Brilliantly funny... refreshingly honest...fizzes with energy' ★★★★ The Stage

"Bitter-sweet, tragi-comic - you choose the oxymoron - My Romantic History clinically dissects an office romance that’s woefully short on romance, but saturated in despair and inertia as the office becomes the last chance saloon for the unattached and romantically hopeless." (The Hereford Times)

Volunteer's Week at the Regal

Volunteer's Week at the Regal

Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering in their communities. 2023 marks the 39th year of Volunteers’ Week.

The contribution of volunteers is often unseen and unrecognised by many, visible only through the incredible impact of their volunteering, so taking the time during Volunteers’ Week to celebrate their efforts and all they contribute to our local communities, the voluntary sector and society as a whole has never been more important.

At the Regal we are choosing to celebrate Volunteers week with two different public events.

We are opening the Studio and inviting local people to book a stall, to hopefully include homemade crafts, Floristry, children’s books, pickles and plants, Cakes, face painting/tattoos, Plus tea and coffee from the bar.

We will also have a Regal Volunteering recruitment stand – with application forms and role descriptions available.

We would like to extend our thank you to Volunteers in our community: anyone who currently volunteers in Tenbury.

Proof of volunteering will be required when booking tickets in person through the box office – there will be a £5 charge for any accompanying friends/partners etc. Call 01584 811442

We will run a raffle with prizes from local businesses. Raffle tickets will be available when booking or on the night.

The film we will screen is Save our Cinema; the true story of Liz Evans, a hairdresser and leader of a youth theatre Carmarthen, Wales, who began a campaign in 1993 to save the Lyric theatre from closure. Alongside then Mayor of Carmarthen Richard Goodridge, they enlisted the help of Stephen Spielberg, securing a special premiere of Jurassic park.
