SIX THE MUSICAL LIVE! (12A) | Filmed at London’s Vaudeville Theatre and on the Regal Screen!

SIX is recommended for ages 10 & up

Filmed at London’s Vaudeville Theatre, SIX the Musical Live! features the six original West End queens – Jarnéia Richard-Noel, Millie O'Connell, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh, Aimie Atkinson and Maiya Quansah-Breed - each reprising their roles for a one-off, showstopping cinematic experience.

Watched by audiences of over 3.5 million, the box office smash-hit and double TONY award-winning SIX the Musical has reigned supreme as a global theatre phenomenon since its 2017 debut at Edinburgh Festival Fringe. With 5* reviews from the Telegraph, Express, Sunday Mirror, Evening Standard and more, the electrifying show follows the long-misunderstood wives of Henry VIII as they strut out of the shadow of their infamous husband to reclaim their narrative and finally tell their stories in their own words - with plenty of royally good fun along the way.

Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, this musical for the ages sees the six queens - Catherine of Aragon (Richard-Noel), Anne Boleyn (O’Connell), Jane Seymour (Paris), Anna of Cleves (McIntosh), Katherine Howard (Atkinson) and Catherine Parr (Quansah-Breed) - take back the microphone through a series of infectious, empowering performances. The queens are accompanied by the sensational on-stage band, the Ladies in Waiting.

SIX the Musical Live! was recorded at the Vaudeville Theatre, London with the original cast reprising their roles. The show was directed for stage by Lucy Moss & Jamie Armitage and directed for film by Liz Clare, and produced by Kenny Wax, Wendy & Andy Barnes, George Stiles and Dione Orrom.

The Penguin Lessons (12A)

The Penguin Lessons is a heartwarming adaptation of Tom Michell’s bestselling memoir, presented as a very special preview ahead of its UK release on 18 April. Set in Argentina in 1976, the film follows English teacher Tom Michell (Steve Coogan) as he arrives at a prestigious boarding school, only to find himself struggling with a nation in turmoil and a class of unruly students. His life takes an unexpected turn when he rescues a small penguin from an oil-slicked beach. Naming it Juan Salvador, Tom soon realises the bird is more than just a pet – it becomes a source of wisdom and transformation for him and those around him, including the school’s headmaster, Buckle (Jonathan Pryce). Directed by Peter Cattaneo (The Full Monty) and adapted by Jeff Pope (Philomena), The Penguin Lessons is a poignant tale of friendship, resilience, and the surprising ways we find hope in difficult times.
